Free, C. Bear has 15 years experience in the professional Television and Film industry, working as everything from camera operator to host, to producer.
He graduated with honors from UCSC earning a BA in film/video production, as well as completing the graduate filmmakers intensive (producing) at the College of Santa Fe.
As Technical Director and Master Control at Media One in San Francisco, He oversaw the daily broadcast of Link TV, a national progressive Satellite Channel, for which he also helped facilitate the creation of a weekly Native American content series called “First People’s Television”.
In the booming feature film Industry in New Mexico, he participated as crew, primarily video assist, on over 25 major films, and several national commercials. This has afforded him the opportunity to work closely with some the country’s top directors, producers and studio executives.
In addition, he always nurtured his passion for documentary, and independent productions, particularly those that affect positive change and serve to raise consciousness and awareness of the changing environmental and social condition of our world.
